Sports field renovation for Mountain View College, Doonside.

Towards the end of 2020, WS Landscape Management was engaged to undertake a sports field renovation for Mountain View College, Doonside.

With only one sports field at the college the playing field is very well used. The playing surface had bare patches from high traffic, weed issues and also uneven areas.The watering system for the field also required repair work. The College needed this renovation work completed within a tight deadline due to the limited playing space for students.

In summary for this project we:

Weed sprayed to remove the weed infestation
Tested and replaced the irrigation heads of the system and also repaired some of the pipe network.
Aerated the playing surface.
Distributed and levelled the playing surface with top soil.
Oversowed field with grass seed
Fertilised turf area
